Dear Parents and Guardians,
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR 2016-2017
The scholarship application process for next year has begun. You can apply online at mytads.com. Families who apply will receive a $25 discount. Also, early registration is ongoing and will be at the reduced rate of $50 until April 15.
REVISED FEBRUARY CALENDAR
As we enter the Season of Lent, we have revised our February calendar to add several additional liturgical celebrations. Throughout the Season, classes from the 128th Street campus will be attending 8:30 Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church, and classes from the Rockaway Boulevard campus will be attending 10:00 Mass at Saint Anthony of Padua. Parents are always welcome.
We’ve also added Progress Reports, which will be distributed on February 26, and a special Dress Up day tomorrow.
DRESS UP & DRESS DOWN
We love having special days where the children are out of Uniform. On Dress Up days, they dress a step up from the uniform, and on Dress Down days, a step down. But there are still rules for both days that need to be followed. Please refer to the handbook carefully. I will incorporate more Dress Up days throughout the remainder of the year so that the students get more practice.
OLCA GIVES BACK!
Our OLCA Gives Back! week was a huge success, and I am excited to share with you the amount raised for each organization. Thank you for your participation, and I look forward to seeing the results of our ongoing Service Projects during Lent.

OLCA WINTER BALL: Saturday, March 5
We are in the final planning stages of a special Winter Ball for parents and families, which will be a formal wear event with food and music. Tickets are available at both school offices for this special event, which will be at our 128th Street Campus from 7 PM -12 AM.
Have a safe and restful Winter Recess, and I look forward to seeing all of you again when we return on Monday, February 22.
Sincerely in Christ,
Kevin John Coyne
Principal
