Please send back your report card conference appointment slip as soon as possible even if you are not planning to attend. It is important to me that I can accommodate parents according to their schedules. Wednesday February 15th

Reading: Superkids Worksheet #85

Spelling: Our Unit 9 Spelling Test will take place4 tomorrow (Thursday) instead.

Science: Our My Favorite Body Part project has been sent home today. Please complete over the break. It is due Monday Feb 27th the day we return to school. Students will receive a science and writing grade for this project.

5 Senses Test Friday

Religion: Students will have a quiz Tuesday Feb 28th on session 16-18. A study sheet will be posted here and a copy will be sent home tomorrow.

Math: Students will have a Chapter 4 quiz Friday on subtraction using counting back and breaking apart strategies. These were in lessons 4.1 and 4.5. They will bring home their math books tonight and tomorrow to prepare.

Please have children complete pages 247-250 #’s 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, and 11 only for homework tonight. They must bring their book and their homework back to school tomorrow for review.

Tomorrow Makayla will be providing a pizza lunch for our class to celebrate her birthday. If your child does not eat pizza, please make other meal arrangements for them. Thank you.

* Please check your child’s folder for important information which has been sent home.

**Thank you for your generous contributions to our class Christmas Party. I will save any and all donations for our class to enjoy tomorrow too.

*** By this time of year children have used up their crayons, colored pencils, and markers. Please send in a new set of them when they return in January and keep a set at home. They should be clearly labeled with their name or put into their pencil case. By the way they make great stocking stuffers!

*Tomorrow (Tuesday) we are having our class Christmas Party. Please remember we have 32 children in our class. Each child should bring an extra drink for themselves so no donations of drinks will be necessary. If you can send something in please make sure it is a food item. Thank you so much.

**Vacation work packets will be going home this week. It consists of a review of some of the recent concepts we have worked on. Please make sure you child completes the packet over the break and returns it to receive a grade. A new list of spelling words will go home when we return from the break.
