* Parent-Teacher Conferences for Trimester 2 are this upcoming Friday 3/24/17. Conference sheets were sent out. Please send them back ASAP so we can figure out a time schedule that works for everyone. We completely understand how busy everyone’s schedules are, so if you cannot make the conference, the report card will be sent home with your child. We are always available for questions via email!
*Spring pictures have been rescheduled for the end of April. Please send back the picture forms to your child’s teacher and be sure to check off what background you would like. (no money is due now)

-The month of March has a lot going on! Be on the lookout for a Saint Patrick’s Day Party sign up and Parent Teacher Conference sign up!

*March is National Reading Month in honor of Dr. Seuss. We will be enriching our curriculum to include a celebration of reading, and an Author Study of Dr. Seuss! We are looking forward to it!

**Any Scholastic book orders that are received on or before March 17th will earn our classes extra bonus gifts and points! Thank you to all who have ordered for our classes!

*Missing School Supply Checklists will be sent home with your children. Please replenish any supplies they may be missing.
**Children MUST come to school each day with at least two sharpened pencils. **
*We are also in need of tissues, paper towel and Clorox Wipes

-Important information will be sent home with your child. Please be sure to check your child’s folder and school planner on a daily basis.
- This 2-1 class page will be updated frequently to reflect the most current information
- Please remember to check your child’s planner on a daily basis and initial the planner. Parent initials are not necessary on individual homework assignments in 2nd Grade.
- All workbooks must be covered to avoid damage and ensure that the children can use them all year.
